Position Overview:
The Mechanical Engineer will be a key contributor to the design and development of mechanical systems, ensuring efficiency, functionality, and adherence to industry standards. Responsibilities:
- Product Design:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and products from concept to completion.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
- Analysis and Testing:
- Conduct stress analysis, thermal analysis, and other engineering calculations.
- Perform testing and validation of prototypes to ensure performance and safety.
- Material Selection:
- Select appropriate materials for mechanical components considering functionality and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and components.
- Manufacturing Support:
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective production.
- Provide technical support and address manufacturing challenges.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering projects with overall business goals.
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing products or processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain accurate documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
