Business Development Executive

Position Overview:

The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a strong understanding of the sales process, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends.
    • Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to identify business opportunities.
  2. Lead Generation:
    • Generate new business leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and digital marketing.
    • Qualify leads and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit and potential value.
  3. Client Acquisition:
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new clients.
    • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our products/services.
  4. Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
    • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to address their business challenges.
  5. Proposal Development:
    • Prepare and present compelling business proposals and quotations.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals in alignment with company objectives.
  6. Sales Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities.
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
  7. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics.
