Position Overview:

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, effective communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of IT project methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Define project tasks, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
    • Foster a positive and productive team environment.
  3. Resource Management:
    • Allocate and manage resources effectively to achieve project goals.
    • Work closely with department heads to secure necessary resources.
  4. Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation plans.
    • Monitor and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
  5. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
    • Ensure alignment between project objectives and overall business goals.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
    • Conduct regular reviews and audits.
  7. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
    • Provide financial reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Documentation:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, plans, and reports.
    • Ensure adherence to documentation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
