Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the well-being of patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and updates.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with established protocols.
- Education and Support:
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to established nursing standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety measures.
- Critical Thinking:
- Exercise critical thinking skills in emergency situations and complex patient cases.
- Participate in the development of care plans and treatment protocols.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on advances in nursing practices and healthcare technologies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid nursing license.
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (as applicable).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
