Position Overview:
As an Insurance Agent, you will play a pivotal role in providing insurance solutions tailored to the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition:
- Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and cold calling.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand clients’ insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Sales and Consultation:
- Present insurance products and services to clients, explaining features, benefits, and coverage details.
- Customize insurance solutions to meet clients’ specific needs and budgetary constraints.
- Policy Issuance:
- Assist clients with the application process, including completing paperwork, collecting necessary documentation, and submitting applications.
- Facilitate the underwriting process and follow up on pending applications.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and assistance with policy inquiries, claims processing, and policy renewals.
- Conduct periodic policy reviews to ensure clients’ coverage remains adequate and up to date.
- Sales Targets:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals as set by management.
- Continuously prospect for new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance market.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and market differentiation.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
