Position Overview:

As an Insurance Agent, you will play a pivotal role in providing insurance solutions tailored to the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition:
    • Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and cold calling.
    • Conduct needs assessments to understand clients’ insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  2. Sales and Consultation:
    • Present insurance products and services to clients, explaining features, benefits, and coverage details.
    • Customize insurance solutions to meet clients’ specific needs and budgetary constraints.
  3. Policy Issuance:
    • Assist clients with the application process, including completing paperwork, collecting necessary documentation, and submitting applications.
    • Facilitate the underwriting process and follow up on pending applications.
  4. Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and assistance with policy inquiries, claims processing, and policy renewals.
    • Conduct periodic policy reviews to ensure clients’ coverage remains adequate and up to date.
  5. Sales Targets:
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals as set by management.
    • Continuously prospect for new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  6. Market Research:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance market.
    • Identify opportunities for product innovation and market differentiation.
  7. Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Active insurance agent license in [state].
